Top Ten Heavenly Juices





Juices of any kind are always good for our body as any sort of fluid intake will decry any form of dehydration. And if the juices you drink are healthy enough, you could swear by liquid diets for any length of time without having to resort to a solid meal. Whether it is summer or monsoon, a healthy dose of juice intake is a must for every health enthusiast. We at Specialfoodz bring to you a list of 10 heavenly juices that will make you ache for them after you are done reading.

1.     Mint-Lime-Ginger juice – A natural craving for a thirst-ridden day, this delicious health drink which is very much an Indian creation, is a combination of tangy lime and ginger and truckloads of pudina (mint) to give you a health boost. Coupled with some ice, a pinch of salt and an ample amount of sugar this juice will be your favorites once you start having it.

2.     Creamy-Date juice – This frothy juice is made out of pitted dates, a whole lot of whole milk and ice. The combination as you could guess is deadly. And healthy too if you want to stay away from sugar and dates have their own natural sweetness.


3.     Hearty Fruit and Oat Juice – If you love oats and if you love fruits too. This one is for you. This juice is a mixture of delicious fruits such as banana, strawberry, oats (but of course), maple syrup (yum, but not very healthy), and low-fat vanilla yogurt. What could make this smacking juice even better is nuts. You could either add cashew nuts, almonds or walnuts to serve its crunchy purpose.

4.     Banana-Ginger Juice – Now banana seems to be the in thing for all sorts of juices because as we all know. Who doesn’t go bananas over a banana smoothie? This very nutritious combination of grated ginger, vanilla yogurt (very important for the flavor), honey, and sliced banana is all one needs to reach the seventh heaven and back.


5.     Blueberry, banana, and green tea – We all know green tea is on the itinerary of all those who are health conscious or those who like to lose weight but imagine drinking a green tea flavored juice which contains blueberries, honey, banana and vanilla flavored soy milk? This blend of honey and fruits is definitely something one has to try on a lunch free day.

6.     Watermelon juice – This watery delight of watermelon pieces and well, water coupled with sugar and cardamom is indeed an awesome breakfast accompaniment. You could also add milk to the juice to give it a sort of a creamy feel to it and also, milk lovers will not be complaining.


7.     Pineapple Passion – A very endearing name, we know. This rich, thick juice is a combination of pineapple chunks, low-fat vanilla yogurt (yogurt is a very handy dairy product you see) and ice cubes. Drinking this juice will give you and edge to your day and enough energy to last through it.

8.     Strawberry-Kiwi Juice – This combination of tropical fruit meets temperate fruit is one that is lethal. The juice is made using frozen strawberries, cold apple juice, sliced kiwifruit and some honey for taste. The resulting flavor and taste of course, is something your taste buds would swear to.


9.     Spiced Pumpkin Juice – If you are done with all things sweet and would like to add some savories or spice to your life or to be more apt, to your juice making skills; spiced pumpkin juice is the way to go. All one needs is whole milk, pure pumpkin puree, honey, ice and a pinch of ground nutmeg and voila!

Mango juice – We know yall have been waiting for this one in particular. Which righteous Indian does not love mangoes? Everybody does!
