Breakfast choices for a lazy Sunday morning

The first thing that you can think of, after you’ve finished your morning routine of brushing and washing… A table laid with hot, piping, tea or coffee according to your taste, 2 slices of bread toast with an egg, sunny side up, some jam and butter and probably some cereal. The ideal breakfast for some and you are already in high heaven. We have now with us a list of breakfast to fill your morning, prepping up your day to a good head start J

Pancakes – A quick whip up of sweet, flour batter mixed with eggs, sugar, butter, a healthy dose of milk and a host of flavors to choose from; blueberry, peanut butter, honey, strawberry, chocolate… All of which will make your mouth swell and happy! Once out of the pan, pancakes, definitely a part of the Dosa family here in India, these perfectly delightful breakfast choice is best eaten on a lazy Sunday morning.
Belgian waffles – Think, crunchy yet soft, not by any means soggy, fried square like delights, coupled with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce, strawberry sauce or coffee flavored sauce. And now imagine EATING this downright heavenly thing! Waffles more or less look like a classic window of a homely house with square holes in them in all the right places. With a hint of colored sprinkles on them, waffles are the best.
Sunny Doughnuts - More or less made like the Indian Vada, except for the fact that these ones are sweet with layered black or white chocolate and are either sprinkled with sprinkles (fancy that!) or icing sugar but you can also eat it plane if you no patience for none of that fancy stuff.
Vada – Wow, just thinking of Vadas makes one hungry. These circular, fried delights, made using a simple rice and dal with a dash of coconut, whole pepper, green chillies and baking soda is one of the best ways to start your lazy Sunday. If you have green coconut chutney, to go with this, there is nothing else one could ever ask for. Well, at least until it’s all over!
French toast – You ain’t having a good breakfast if it does not include French toast. This easy to make breakfast choice involves beaten eggs that has cinnamon and sugar added to it if you want to keep the ingredients classic and simple. Now, all you have to do is dip those eager breads into this wonderful batter and fry them away until your mouth has watered from anticipation. You could also add some vanilla flavor to the better to make it more delicious than it already is.
Cereal – The best thing about cereal is that you could have it ANY WAY you like and choose from a plethora of flavors, fruits and dry fruits. There is the blueberry, chocolate, strawberry, honey and one that has just dry fruits and corn flakes in them. All you have to do is shake out the corn flakes from a bag and pour it into a big bad bowl and fill it up with milk and sugar if you prefer your cereal nice and sweet. Your breakfast is ready in a minute and you have the entire day for yourself.
Sandwiches – The good thing about sandwiches is the fact that you can place almost anything between two slices of bread and make it a sandwich. Some really easy and quick choice could include, cucumber and cheese sandwich, peanut butter and jelly, corn and cheese, spinach and cheese and a hundred other more things that could be added. Make sure you obey the ground rules though. Existence of cheese, existence of pepper and existence of sauce (any kind would do). Unless your sandwich is a sweet one, avoid the sauce and pepper (he he). Grilling the sandwich as a whole would make it ten times tastier than it originally would be but if you are too lazy to do it just eat the thing. Toasting the bread with butter is also a good start and it barely takes a minute.
Bread and Eggs – This is the ‘go to’ and all-time favorite for any novice cook. Toasted bread with eggs that are just dumped on a pan and fried with some pepper and butter or eggs that are beaten and added to sautéed onion, garlic and tomato… Mmm…You could also just beat up a couple of eggs, add capsicum, some mixed herbs and cheese. And Voila! Your perfect breakf
